2008 Ontario Canada Morel Foray (and Prime Fishing)
Come and join Chris Matherly in a private Fishing Camp less than two hours SW of Ottawa, to hunt the Motherlode of Morels, just waiting to be found! This is a special treat designed for those that love to hunt Morels and would love to learn more of how and where to hunt, and be guided by a pro Morel Hunter. This is a learning experience, and many special Morel Recipe dishes will be demonstrated as well by Chris Matherly. Several prime hunting spots will be searched adjacent to thousands of acres of crown land, on the Canadian Shield so Morels are sure to be plentiful! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity so make sure you register immediately, as it will be on a first come first served basis, and limited to the first 15 registrants.

This was the 2007 Michigan Morel Foray where Chris guided the group, and the Travel Channel crew through the Michigan woods in search of Morels. The Travel Channel Morel episode is currently airing. Chris is on the far right, and next to him is Kirsten, the Host for the Travel Channel show "Best Places To Find Cash And Treasures".

5:00 PM Friday- Cooking Demonstration
7:00 PM Friday- Meet and Chat- Get hyped up! (Get a sneak-peek of some Morels)!
8:00 AM Saturday- Begin the hunt!
Packed sandwiches for lunch at 11:30 AM
More hunting until about 4:00 PM.
7:00 PM Saturday- Morel Mushroom Cooking Demonstration and snacks
8:00 AM Sunday more hunting! Until about 11:00 AM
12:00 Shelter Reserved for our cook-out/ steak and mushroom feast. Until about 3:00 PM
