Description:
Common Name: White Chanterelle Cap: White to creamy, medium to large, rounded when young, becoming flat, then depressing in the center, and may become funnel shaped. Wavy margin Flesh: Firm, thick, creamy. Fragrant fruity smell. Gills: White, blunt, thick, branched, widely spaced and continue down the stalk. Stalk: Medium, colored white, smooth. Fruiting: Scattered and clustered on soil. Summer and Fall. Northwestern US and Canada woods mainly. Edibility: A choice edible mushroom. Note:
