Morel Mushroom Hunting Club's
8th Annual
Mushroom Photo Contest
Deadline: April. 25th, 2008
Rules: There is still no entry fee, it is free to enter. You must submit your mushroom photo before the end of the day on April. 25th, 2008. Photos will be judged on clarity, color, lighting, composition, and textures. If you have a great photo, but do not have a scanner, you may send them via snail mail to me with a self-addressed stamped envelope, and I will scan them for you and return them to you. All photos submitted will be put on display here for the public to view. You do not have to be a member of the Morel Mushroom Hunting Club to enter.
There are Four categories this year!. 1. Morels in their natural surroundings. 2.Mushroom finds with or without a person in the picture. example: (your day's find all laid out on a table), (or Cousin Suzy holding the giant 15" Morel!). 3. Mushroom photos other than Morels. 4.Finally, Pre-1980 Photos, even better if very old in Black and White, photos of Morel Finds from the more distant past. Jpg files are preferred. Any size, I will edit it. You may NOT digitally alter photo.
I will narrow the finalists down and publish them on a finalists web page. Then you, the public, will vote on your pick of each category. You can vote for your own photograph only once.
Winners will be notified via email. The winning prizes are as follows:
Grand Prize - Most total number of votes, any category.
The newest DVD from Taylor Lockwood, The newest DVD from Morel Mushroom Hunting Club9 125 Edible Mushrooms), a T-Shirt from the Morel Mushroom Hunting Club of a Hummer with Giant Morels on it, Set Of Coasters from the Morel Mushroom Hunting Club, A Morel Ornament hand painted by Chris Matherly, A signed book by Larry Lonik!, and a Morel Mushroom carved deer antler!.

Second Place - Second highest number of votes, any category .
A DVD form Morel Mushroom Hunting Club, A T-Shirt from Morel Mushroom Hunting Club, and a Morel Ornament hand painted by Chris Matherly.
Third Place- Third highest number of votes, any category.
A T-Shirt from Morel Mushroom Hunting Club.
