Member Fees

     It would be my greatest wish to be able to offer all that I have done in the Member Area at no charge. I am doing this for fun and as a hobby, not to make a profit, but, unfortunately, there are a great deal of costs involved to bring you this Web Site. Monthly Hosting fees, Domain Name fees, and of course the non-internet associated costs, such as the cost of the Member Laminated cards, and the Laminated Identification Cards that some memberships include to help you when you are out in the woods. There is also a considerable cost in producing the Morel video that comes with some memberships. There are other mushroom clubs out there, and most charge a fee also, and none that I know of gives you as much as Morel Mushroom Hunting Club does. Not only the largest selection of  mushroom photos and videos available on the net, but also a lot of fun things to be involved with. I spend roughly 20-50 hours per week adding to and updating this site, so new features are being added often. It also takes a great deal of my time to give you a quick correspondence to your emails. I get as many as 500 per day! I also have many upcoming projects that will simply take capital to produce such as a couple books I am working on, and with no backing from a University/etc, it is all on my own.

     To sum things up, I wish that I could do all of this for no charge, but all I really intend to do is to break even for my expenses, and any excess proceeds go directly back into mushrooming and this website in one way or another. For new photographic equipment, travel expenses, etc. My time I give to you for free!
