Description:
Common Name: Blue Milky Cap: 2-4 inches. Flesh: Blue, bleeding blue latex Gills: Blue Spore Print: Blue Stalk: Blue, 2-5 inches tall Fruiting: Summertime, from the ground, will re-fruit in the same location each year. There are a few Lactarius species that are similar, usually with green tones or burgendy. Range: All 50 States, Canada and Europe as well. Edibility: Delicious! Look-alikes: None! Note: All of the above mushrooms were found in September 2004 in Twiggs County in Georgia.
