Naematolma sublateritium

They are a good edible and can be found in good numbers. Usually
found in the Fall but I have seen them in lesser numbers in early Spring. They
have an unusual spore color of purple/brown which can be seen in one of the
attached pictures. It's worth mentioning that you often can see the spore color
in the field on the top of a cap that had another cap overlapping it. This is
important to help
separate them from the deadly Galerina and the sulfur tuft, Naematoloma
fasciculare. They grow on decaying wood and are often found along creeks where
logs absorb lots of water. I'm not sure if attaching too many pictures at once

from you that it is ok to send more. The common name is Brick top or Brick cap
and that
