Typical infestation of luscious Oyster Mushrooms in all stages of growth. Unfortunately for me, the lowest one shown was about 10 feet off of the ground! I was unable to harvest any of these. However, the very top of this tree fell to the ground, and they were on it also! :>}

Description:
Common Name: Oyster Mushroom Cap: 3 inches up to over a foot across. Flesh: white. Gills: Spore Print: White. Stalk: Normally Stalkless, but can sometimes have a short stalk especially when growing from a downed log instead of an upright one. Fruiting: On deciduous dead wood. Unlike the Angel's Wings that fruit on Coniferous dead wood. Range: Throughout Edibility: A good edible mushroom. Look-alikes: Angel Wings, grows on conifer logs. Note:
