Spathularia velutipes ( Fairy Fan).  This mushroom is not likely to mistaken for any other.  S. flavida is similar except it has a yellowish white  non velvety stalk.  They found here in the late summer to fall.  Usually found in groups on ground under pine trees.  These were found in Westel, TN
