Suillus pictus

This is Suillus pictus ( Painted Bolete).  Edible and highly regarded by some, I find it a typical Suillus.  I think it one of the best Suillus, but that just damning with faint praise.  I have never met a Suillus I liked.  Found under eastern white pine summer thru fall. common. They are a pretty sight in the woods
